    Using the 80-200, you might simply plant yourself and shoot at 135mm. Not that that isn't nice, but it isn't 180mm. I don't find that 180mm to be slower to focus than the 80-200. I might actually think the 180mm is a bit faster. In terms of versatility during a wedding ceremony, I only use the 80-200 on a tripod and I don't use the 180mm.
